Meet the chairwoman

Claire Dwyer is a seasoned piping material engineer with over 30 years of experience in piping design, engineering, and valve technology across a wide range of industries, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, mining, and even brewery systems. She began her career with Fluor in Johannesburg, South Africa, and currently serves as the lead piping material engineer on a major capital project in Houston. In 2020, Claire was honored as a Fluor Fellow, recognizing her technical leadership and contributions to the field.

Thomas Wagner

Thomas Wagner has a Diploma Engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany. Since 2003, he is working for Framatome GmbH, at Karlstein, Germany. Mr. Wagner is the Engineering Supervisor at the ISO 17025-accredited Components Qualification Department. As a Senior Test Engineer, he gained experiences in testing of fuel elements, containment venting systems, passive safety systems, pressurizer heaters, Reactor Coolant Pump seal systems and various types of valve assemblies.
