Meet the associations supporting the Valve World Conference 2026
The European Sealing Association (ESA) is a trade organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of sealing materials across Europe. It promotes technical excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility in gasket, packing, mechanical seal, elastomeric & polymeric seal and expansion joint technologies. ESA develops industry guidelines, supports regulatory compliance, and collaborates with international bodies to improve standards. It also provides education and technical resources to help users and manufacturers achieve reliable, low emission sealing solutions in industrial applications.
Founded in 1974, the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) serves the global upstream industry, bringing together around 100 organisations ranging from the major IOCs and NOCs to smaller frontier explorers and late life operators, leading service companies and local associations. Members collaborate and exchange knowledge spanning safety, engineering, environment, and the energy transition to deliver practical solutions to common challenges drawing upon collective industry expertise and deep technical knowledge, operational and regulatory experience, shared learnings and leadership insight.
The British Valve and Actuator Association (BVAA) supports the UK valve industry and its supply chain by providing member‑exclusive services. It represents over 160 member companies employing more than 10,000 people and contributing £3 billion annually to the UK market.
BVAA delivers value through business networking, new commercial opportunities, industry‑recognised training, technical expertise, and influence. It also publishes Valveuser Magazine, the leading news publication for the valve industry.
